I am a front-end web developer with nearly ten years experience. Most of my clients are design firms who want a professional developer that's knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with.
The site owners include companies, institutions, organizations and individuals in high technology, commerce, public service, education, architecture, and, in one case, Grand Opera.
My Knowledge Base
I studied architecture and English at Cornell, earned BA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Harvard.
To keep ahead of the rapid evolution of website software technology, I continue to learn, by taking great advantage of technology "meet-ups," conferences, and other significant educational opportunities in the Cambridge/Boston area and beyond.
Valuable Experience
Before focusing on web development, I worked as a graphic designer, a free-lance technical writer, and as a high-tech marketing communications manager. Many of the lessons I learned in each of these careers have had applications in the broad web development environment.
A Dependable, Professional Web Software Developer
With my diverse background, clients have found me especially useful because I'm able to understand projects from the designer's, site owner's and developer's points of view. And because I work hard to reward their confidence by being flexible and dependable — and by taking their needs very seriously.

If you are involved in the creation or implementation of a website, I could be very useful to you. I would be very happy to tell you more about myself and my work — and, more important — to learn about you and what you are doing.
In the meantime, you can take a look at my resume for more details, including a list of sample projects.
